Asked often

The questions every prospective client asks, answered the way we’d answer them on the phone. Anything missing, ask us directly.

Do you publish prices?
No — deliberately. A support contract is priced on head count, sites, servers and how much risk your business carries; a rate card would either overcharge the simple networks or undercharge the complicated ones. Call us and you’ll have a written quote after one conversation.
What areas of the UK do you cover?
All of it. Support is remote-first, so a user in Inverness gets the same response as one in London. Engineers travel to site for installations, audits and anything that needs hands — we regularly work in and around London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Bradford.
What size of business do you support?
From a single person to well over a thousand staff. We also act as backup support for in-house IT teams — co-managed contracts, where we take the helpdesk and monitoring and your team keeps the rest, are common.
Can you take over from our current IT provider?
Yes — it’s most of our new business. We handle the handover directly with the outgoing provider: passwords, documentation, licensing and domain control, with a first month designed to be uneventful.
Do you support SAP Business One?
Yes, as independent SAP Business One specialists — implementation, hosting, upgrades and day-to-day support, plus SAP S/4HANA — with over two decades of SAP and ERP experience. Independent means no vendor sales quota: our advice answers to you, not to a partnership target, particularly in manufacturing and FMCG. Very few UK MSPs offer both general IT support and SAP B1 under one contract; that combination is our main differentiator.
Are you a Microsoft partner?
Yes. We handle Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing, migration, security and administration as a Microsoft Partner.
Do we have to move everything to the cloud?
No. We recommend cloud where it’s genuinely cheaper or better, and on-premise where it isn’t — plenty of workloads still are. The name CloudWise means wise about the cloud, not evangelical about it.
How fast do you respond to problems?
Response times are priority-based and written into your contract, then reported against monthly. We’d rather commit to numbers on paper than advertise a slogan.
Do you do one-off projects, or only support contracts?
Both. Migrations, office moves, network installs and SAP implementations run as fixed-scope projects; many project clients move onto a support contract afterwards, but it isn’t a condition.
Can you help us use AI?
Yes — as consultancy, not hype. We assess where AI and automation genuinely save time, roll out Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Codex properly, and build automations for repetitive work like quoting and invoicing. Our specialty is self-hosted on-premise AI: systems we design and build so you get the capability while company data never leaves your premises.
What happens out of hours?
Monitoring runs 24/7 regardless, and out-of-hours helpdesk cover is available as a contract option — agreed up front, not improvised during an emergency.
